Solution If both you and your contact are in one of the FreeConnect supported countries, you may talk for free using FreeConnect. When you generate a jaxtr number to call your contact an icon will be displayed if FreeConnect is avaliable.

When you call the jaxtr number, select the FreeConnect option when you hear the voice prompt. Jaxtr will then send an email and/or Text (SMS) notification to your contact with a local number for them to call and get connected to you at no charge from jaxtr. Please note your phone company's local calling charges may still apply.

To place a jaxtr FreeConnect Call:

1. Use the local jaxtr access number displayed on your account home page
- Log into your jaxtr account: http://www.jaxtr.com
- A local access number will be displayed to use for calling your contacts

2. Save and Dial the local jaxtr access number at any time
- Once connected to jaxtr, press '1' to make a call, and then the phone number of your destination (the person you wish to call) then select the FreeConnect option
- You'll then be asked to wait while jaxtr notifies the other jaxtr member via email and/or SMS.
- Your friend will receive their own personal local jaxtr number to use to call in to contact you.

3. Start talking for Free using jaxtr FreeConnect
- Your friend will receive the notification and will need to call the included local jaxtr number.
- Once they have called in using the jaxtr number, we instantly connect them to you who's been waiting on hold.
- Because both you and your friend have used a local jaxtr number to talk, the call is completely free to both parties.

Please note:
- SMS text notifications are only sent if you are calling to a Mobile phone numbers.
- Both calling parties must be in countries supported by local jaxtr numbers.
